These Terms of Service govern your use of Kentrora, a social media management platform operated by Kentrora (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using Kentrora, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. What Kentrora Provides
Kentrora is a software platform that helps local businesses — including restaurants, salons, cafes, and similar businesses — manage their social media presence, customer communications, and online reviews. Specifically, Kentrora provides:
- A unified inbox for messages from connected platforms
- AI-powered reply suggestions and content generation
- A content calendar and social media scheduling tools
- Review monitoring and response tools
- Reporting and business performance summaries
- Integration workflows for third-party platforms
Kentrora is the software layer. We connect to third-party platforms on your behalf using the credentials and permissions you provide. We do not operate those platforms, and their individual terms and pricing apply independently.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorised to enter into contracts on behalf of your business. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
One Kentrora account may represent multiple business profiles (“brands”). Each brand is a distinct workspace. Your subscription plan determines how many brands and features are available.
3. Subscription Plans and Billing
Kentrora offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. Your plan determines which features you can access. Plans are described on our pricing page and in your account settings.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. Refunds are not issued for partial months. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We may update pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
4. AI Credits
Many Kentrora features are powered by large language model AI (provided by Anthropic and/or OpenAI). These AI features consume AI credits, which are allocated to your account each month based on your subscription plan.
AI credits are used when you:
- Request an AI-generated reply suggestion in the inbox
- Generate a monthly AI business report
- Use the AI content planner or caption generator
- Trigger any other AI-assisted feature explicitly
AI credits reset at the start of each calendar month. Unused credits do not carry over. If you exhaust your monthly allowance, AI features become unavailable until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade your plan.
AI credits are a Kentrora resource. They are separate from any charges made by AI providers directly, which are absorbed by Kentrora and not passed to you individually.
5. Third-Party Platform Integrations
Kentrora integrates with third-party platforms including but not limited to: Google Business Profile, Meta (Instagram and Facebook), Gmail, TikTok, and WhatsApp Business Platform. These integrations are provided as a convenience. Each platform has its own terms of service, privacy policy, and pricing.
Kentrora does not control, and is not responsible for, the policies, availability, performance, or charges of third-party platforms. Changes to a platform’s API, access policy, or pricing may affect the availability of certain Kentrora features.
When you connect a third-party account to Kentrora, you authorise us to access that account on your behalf in accordance with the permissions you grant. You remain solely responsible for compliance with those platforms’ terms of service.
6. WhatsApp Business Platform — Important Notice
WhatsApp Business API is not free
WhatsApp for personal use is free. However, the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), which is used by business software like Kentrora to send and receive messages programmatically, operates on a paid, conversation-based pricing model set and charged by Meta Platforms, Inc.
When you connect a WhatsApp Business account to Kentrora:
- Kentrora provides the integration workflow and inbox experience
- Meta charges your connected WhatsApp Business Account directly, based on conversation volume and type
- These Meta charges are separate from your Kentrora subscription
- Kentrora does not receive, markup, or profit from Meta’s WhatsApp API charges
- You are responsible for understanding and managing your WhatsApp Business API costs with Meta
Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform pricing is published on Meta’s website and may vary by country and conversation type. Service conversations initiated by customers are typically lower-cost or free within certain thresholds. Marketing and utility conversations initiated by the business carry per-conversation fees.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Kentrora to:
- Send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or harassing content
- Violate the terms of service of any connected platform
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
- Use AI features to generate deceptive, harmful, or illegal content
- Impersonate another business or person
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Data and Content
You retain ownership of the content you create and the data you bring into Kentrora. By using the platform, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service.
Message content processed through AI features is sent to our AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) for inference. These providers are bound by data processing agreements. We do not use your business data to train AI models.
The Kentrora platform itself — the software, design, name and logo — remains the exclusive property of Kentrora. These terms grant you a right to use the service, not any ownership of it, and no rights beyond that use are transferred.
9. Limitation of Liability
Kentrora is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that integrations with third-party platforms will remain available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kentrora’s liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any charges incurred through third-party platforms connected to your Kentrora account, including but not limited to Meta’s WhatsApp Business API fees.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated terms, you may cancel your account.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which Kentrora is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the appropriate courts in that jurisdiction.
